How does it work?

What is MarketMatch?

MarketMatch is MoxMarket's automated market reference price system. Instead of manually checking prices and updating your listings, MarketMatch ties your listing price to live market reference data. This means your prices stay competitive without any ongoing maintenance.

Every night, MoxMarket syncs reference prices from trusted market sources. Any listing set to MarketMatch automatically reflects the updated price the next morning keeping you competitive without lifting a finger.

Please note that Sorcery: Contested Realm pricing is not available at this time. We will be adding support for it as soon as we find a reliable source.

Two modes

Two MarketMatch modes

MarketMatch 1:1CK 1:1

The listing price directly mirrors the source currency at a 1:1 rate. For MTG, this means your card will be listed automatically at 1:1 Card Kingdom (CK) USD price. This is widely used as NZD by convention in the New Zealand MTG community.

MarketMatch Converted

The listing price is automatically converted from the source market currency (USD, GBP, etc.) to NZD using live exchange rates fetched nightly. This mode gives buyers a true NZD price that tracks both the card's market value and the current exchange rate.

For buyers

01Listings with a MarketMatch badge are priced against real market data — not arbitrary seller guesses.
02The percentage shown next to a listing price (▲ or ▼) shows how it compares to the current market reference price.
03MarketMatch Converted listings include live currency conversion, so you see an accurate local prices even for internationally-sourced cards.

For sellers

01Enable MarketMatch when creating a listing — no extra setup needed.
